Epilepsy Action exisits to improve the lives of people living with epilepsy. Over 600,000 people in the UK have epilepsy, which is a serious neurological condition.
Epilepsy Action is a community of people committed to a better life for everyone affected by epilepsy.
We want high quality, accessible epilepsy healthcare services, so that people with epilepsy have the support they need to manage their condition.
We want wider awareness and understanding of epilepsy, so that people living with the condition are treated with fairness and respect.
Epilepsy Action are dedicated to creating world without limits for people with epilepsy. We put people affected by epilepsy at the heart of everything we do, and we value their input in all our activities.
Young people’s voices are essential to shaping and supporting the future of Epilepsy Action. Too often, decisions regarding the wellbeing of young people are made without the input from those most affected. The Youth Panel ensures that young people have the opportunity to be heard, while providing feedback in shaping the services, campaigns, and projects that we work.
No one understands the challenges facing young people better than those experiencing it.
