The aim of Bradford PHAB is to promote and encourage people of all abilities to come together on equal terms, to achieve complete inclusion within the wider community. This includes promoting and encouraging the self-confidence and independence of young people of all abilities through a range of diverse activities and project. We bring together members of the local community with young people from all walks of life including those with disabilities and different locations in Bradford We provide a setting in which physically disabled and able-bodied children and young people can mix and develop understanding and we work with partners, from both voluntary and non-voluntary organisations in providing activities for children and young people. We also provide regular, social, fun, and educational experiences for children and young people to promote and encourage opportunities where people with disabilities and people without disabilities share experiences on an ‘equal’ basis working towards an inclusive society.
PHAB Festival is now in our Third year and getting bigger and better with attendance over 2 or 3 Thousand people last year.
This is held in the local village of East Bierley, Bradford and is a free event for all the family to enjoy. We have Live Stage music acts, inflatables, Donkey rides, over 50 Stall holders providing a wide range of goods/services, Food & Drink stalls, Fun Fair rides, ZORB balls, Go Karts etc and the highlight is the PHAB got talent competition where disabled children from the club perform infront of family and friends.
We are looking for dedicated, commited and fun loving individuals to carry out a range of duties on the day

The event will be held on Bank Holiday Monday 25th August 2025 at East Bierley Cricket Club, Southview Road, BD4 6PJ.
Volunteer hours can be any between 9am and 7pm to help set up/tidy away
