After studying Peace Studies at the University of Bradford, Emma Jones has gone onto work in Uganda for the international development organisation Advocate Coalition for Development and Environment (ACODE). In this interview Emma shares her life changing experiences of being in Rwanda, her journey as a student and her aspirations for the future.
We talked to Freya Leask whilst she was studying Chemistry with Research Experience at the University of Bradford. She confessed to never being ‘up north’ before moving to Bradford and discusses her Masters dissertation, her involvement with the Students’ Union, and leading the Archery Team to European victory.

Felix J Prince Kankwamba
Felix J Prince Kankwamba studied both at undergraduate and postgraduate level at the University of Bradford before becoming an elected member of the Students' Union Executive. He recalls the day he gained a place at the University through Clearing to hosting the University's most popular radio show, and reflects on what Bradford has taught him and how he hopes it will shape his future.
