The University of Bradford Union of Students has partnered with Coffee House Sessions for four years now bringing live music every week to Student Central as well as at other events such as our annual Party on the Amp festival.
Coffee House Sessions was born in 2013 as a solution to re-kindle live music in Universities and has now gone on to launch a London circuit. They have toured over 60 artistes, who’ve performed more than 2,500 performances.
Coffee House Sessions helped establish the careers of Brit Nominee Izzy Bizu, The Carnabys, Ady Suleiman & The Shires to name but a few. CHS also curates a number of music festival stages, including Taste London & Jimmy’s Harvest Festival. They've gained huge industry support with Sony, Warner Music & Universal all previously contributing to the UK tour.
With a huge lifestyle shift moving audiences away from alcohol led venues, Coffee House Sessions provide #FreshlyBrewed #NewMusic where the audience already are… in coffee houses.
60 years ago coffee houses helped to break amazing talent such as the legendary Bob Dylan. They now take things full circle with the UK’s only daytime acoustic touring platform.
